Always play Classical Music — Set one of your FM Radio presets to KBACH — “Classical 89.5” FM if you are driving in Phoenix, Arizona– any other major city should have a similar classical station as well. I can’t tell you how much and how many times this simple little task has gotten me complements and thus probably tips. Even if you are listening to a sports broadcast or your own music while you drive to a pickup, right before you pull up to pick up a new passenger or better yet an Airport Ride, quickly switch the Radio Channel to Classical Radio I can almost guarantee that someone during your driving shift will appreciate the ease of tonality and reward you with a tip. Easy money. It’s called “Driving Music” for a reason.
Always open and close the doors (if you can) and always load luggage if there is some.
Always be amicable, and courteous yet also somewhat forgettable at the same time.
Always clean and vacuum your car at least weekly or right before you head out for a driving session.
Always strive for a high rides to tip ratio. What is this? If you give two rides and one of your two passengers tipped you that’s a %50 ratio. A %40 tip ratio is really good.
Always be clean, be yourself, and just do your job–Drive.
Always help the elderly and respect them. Ask them how their day is going. Ask them about their kids. Old people have the money. Get tips from them.
Always do all of these things. If you at least try to always do all of these things I guarantee you will cash in higher weekly earnings.
