So I am trying REALLY hard to get you a free LYFT ride in this post, because hey, you are reading My Lyft Journal and you deserve it.
Word on the street is, if you live in Phoenix and you Dial 3-1-1, you can get up to four, one way rides and/or two round trip Lyft rides FOR FREE!! Thanks to United Way’s Ride United (Government?) Program and the fact that it’s a billion degrees out! (They are calling it “free rides for heat relief!“)
Word on the “Net” is it’s 2-1-1. Now, honestly, I am not 100% on whether it is 2-1-1 or 3-1-1 because I haven’t done it myself but, I think it’s 2-1-1. Actually, I am pretty sure it’s 2-1-1. I’d hope that if you are reading this and you actually need to get somewhere then you’d have the ability and time to dial one extra number and try both digits. It’s a free ride by God…

To summarize, the 2-1-1 website, says this:
“After determining the option that best suits your needs, please call the 211 Transportation Hotline at 1-855-345-6432, or dial 211 and select option 4 for transportation, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily, to schedule your ride!”
